The most important traditional celebration of the Jingpo minority,  Munao zongge, which features grand scale and soul-shaking vitality, is praised as “dance of the heaven” and “carnival of 10 thousand dancers”. 

Objective of the Festival is to worship Jingpo people’s Solar God Mudai, and important symbol of the Festival is Munao shidong. On Munao zongge, the Jingpo people, regardless age and sex, would pool into the Zongge Square, where they beat drums and gongs and dance to the drumbeats, making the event a spectacular scene.
